A.R.S. § 32-1154 Sets Forth Things that an Arizona Contractor May Not Do

In Arizona, contractors are regulated by rules and by statutes. One statute in particular lists most of the things that a contractor is not allowed to do.

That statute is A.R.S. § 32-1154. That statute lists the grounds for the suspension or the revocation of a license. You can see the whole statute here.

The list is in subsection (A) of A.R.S. § 32-1154. It is worth paying attention to the introductory paragraph of that subsection:

A. The holder of a license or any person named on a license pursuant to this chapter may not commit any of the following acts or omissions…

Notice that the statute applies not only to the licensed contractor (“the holder of a license”), but also to the people who are named on the contractor’s license (“any person named on a license”).
